These are excellent quality lug nuts. I have only had them a few weeks and they are great so far. The real test will be after the winter season. I am using these on my snowmobile trailer and no other lug nut has made it even one season without rusting. I am hoping the claims are true and that the triple plating of the McGard nuts will last for several years. Even if they only last a couple seasons they are a great value because the are only moderately more expensive than "cheap" chrome plated lug nuts. And then there is the lifteime warranty...

Replaced all the lug nuts on my '03 Dakota. The OE nuts were slowly coming apart and I'd picked up a few replacements at the local parts store resulting in two different hex sizes. Those cheap replacements were rusting after a year and when a couple more OE nuts lost their shell it was time to replace all. I guess time will tell about rust/pitting on the McGard's, but they look sharp after a month and use in the sand and salt of OBX. Amazon price very competitive.

My thoughts for a better replacement for factory lug nuts. I use them on my other vehicle and are a no nonsense replacement. Just have to make sure you have the right size lug wrench since they may or may not be the same size as the factory lug wrench.

I got these for my boat trailer, and they are excellent. They cover the entire stud, so there are no exposed threads to rust.
