I just installed this rear seat protector in my 2011 Outback and I love it! Like the other review by Mikey, I was wary of the installation, but it was pretty darn easy and very worth it. Thanks to his review, I fearlessly attempted it the day it arrived, and I'm so glad I did! It fits perfectly, looks nice, and gives me piece of mind about my formerly carpeted seat backs, when loading potentially damaging cargo. If you think you need this, then don't hesitate to order it. When I first received this, I noticed there were only five fasteners to hold it in place. I didn't think it was enough, so put off installing it for six months. Finally got tired of moving it around and installed it today. The design is better than I thought. The five snap-type fasteners at the top are enough. The bottom is corrugated and tucks into a recess behind the seats. It stays in place with the seats up or down, looks and works great. Installation requires poking holes in the back of the seat an awl worked fine. It took 20 minutes. Wish I'd installed it sooner. Nice product. Would recommend.

It is fine, but when you have the tray in the back, it doesn't fold up as well as I would have liked, but does it's job.

I bought these to protect the seat backs of my new 2013 Subaru Outback. They fit perfectly and are relatively easy to install. The trick to installing them is:

With the seats folded down, crawl in the hatch and face the front of the car. Place the mats so they are slightly above the line where the carpet meets the seat fabric, just below the headrest. Otherwise the holes won't be in the right place.
