It clips on to headrest and can hold tablets. But the description is misleading. It is not big enough to hold Macbook or Macbook air. I was looking for something for macbook, so I could not use it. But it looks appropriate for tablets.

I ordered two of these mounts for my 2011 Prius and has seen previous reviews stating the securing clips to the headrest had broke for other people. I took my time to look them over, made sure to depress the foam backing to not put too much pressure on the clips and eased the clip down. PING! Half the plastic piece went flying across the car. I used super glue to bond it back together and gave it another shot but with the same result. The other mount went in the first time, but when I removed it and reinstalled it the same parts broke.

For the price I was willing to take a chance, but the plastic clips are rubbish and have no chance of working. However, I saved the remaining portions of the mounts and found some heavy duty magnets that I glued to the headrest connection that seem to work great. The magnets are good because when you are done you just pull the moust off instead of messing with the clips.

In any event, spend the money for a better product, these mounts aren't worth even $15 each.

Not as versatile as advertised! Absolute waste of money, did not pivot or even hold the dvd player we own, not only that Amazon advertised it as being U.S. based when I found out it was being shipped from the U.K., which I got with one day before I needed to leave for a trip. Worthless! Going into a yard sale, hope some sucker buys it.

Pros:

1. Easy to mount onto the headrest.

2. Sturdy, my netbook stayed firmly in place.

3. Adjustable; viewer gets good view of the screen.

4. Can even fit large notebooks.

Cons:

1. The grip may press onto keys when used on netbooks (where the keys are very close to the edge)

2. If attached electronic device needs to be removed for security reasons, can be quite troublesome. But this is the price for a really good grip!
