This would have been great if my truck had been a normal Dodge Ram 1500. Turns out our seatbelt in the truck is a little different than the standard issue seatbelt so I would have to special order one. I returned this one, but the people I bought it from were awesome – They were able to answer my questions on why it didn't work, help me locate the proper one (I ended up not buying it because it wouldn't have arrived in time for our move out-of-state) and did give me a refund for the one I returned. A good alternative but depends on your cup holder. Mode more for standard size cup holders, most of mine are odd shaped or way big (4"+)so ended up havening to use a colapsabe one. Seems to be doing ok but concerned as the cupholder was pretty shaky to begin with. It does pretty good, I have an Optimus G Pro With a Zero Lemon 9300mah basttery so the phone is pretty heavy and it seems to do alright hanging on to it.

A well made holder for both iPad or phone. The post will fit in most cup holders snuggly by adjusting a knob close to the base. My only negative with the device is it will only hold the iPad 2 in landscape mode. The item as displayed shows a tablet in portrait position but it must be a Mini. But I bought it to hold the iPad for use as a navigation tool and the landscape mode works fine for that. It's easily adjustable to any viewing position and leaves the dash uncluttered.

I bought it because it has good reviews. It really doesn't fit in my rav 4. I mainly bought it to use with my note 10.1 2014 edition. The hinge where arm and tablet holder comes together can't be adjusted. You can only go up or down and twist left or right but can't tilted the hinges to any angle. Anyway, it was a waste of my money because the base doesn't even fit tightly into the cup holder. Don't buy .

I got these whole set for the Truck and they look and fit very well . the side lips overlap with the plastic under the door, making it easy to clean with a broom without having any dirt caught on the carpet. If you don't clean them, the dirt just stays there and does not migrate to other parts of the truck. Keep a small broom on the car! The back liner looks very nice and also fits very well. The carpets that come with the truck will get dirty very fast.

These fit my 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab perfectly. Out of the box a couple of points of contact along the edges needed a day or two to "uncurl" and fit in just right. But after that they settled in without any problems. The coverage is good. My only complaint is that the material is stiff and hard. This makes it tough when you go to take the floor mats out of the truck and put them back in. Especially the drivers side with the pedals! And look out for the little spikey guys on the bottom because with the stiffness of the material they are sharp and mean (you can scratch things in the interior of you aren't careful). However, this is a minor detail which can be figured out best how to manage after a dozen cleanings of the interior. Otherwise I would have given these mats 5 stars. They are tough, fit perfect, look good when they are in place, and look like they are going to last for a few years.

Reads and clears all, the only SLIGHT drawback is it displays the original 5 digit VW/VAG codes and not the 4 digit OBDII codes most of us are used to. The provided manual however has all the codes in it, so this is a MINOR (if any) inconvenience.

this product works well. it is almost identical to dynamat extreme, yet is less expensive. the only diffrence being the aluminum is slightly thinner, but is still great quality. after much research i cant find what the adhesive is, but it is almost certainly a high percent butyl. the odor from it is so so faint its negligable. so its a great alternative to the name brands. will purchase more. and in fact it lays and rolls down better than dynamat. only took away a star because 3 dollars a square foot is still high for what it is.

I used this on my Corvair Corsa that has the mid engine conversion. I have a firewall right in back of my seat and it would get very warm once the car got up to temp. I applied this to the aluminum/fiberglass firewall and it works very well in both sound deadening and temperature reduction. You will notice a strong smell when you first take it out of the package and I would recommend unrolling it and setting it in the sun or a warm place to soften it up if you want to apply it onto contoured surfaces. Give it a couple days and the smell is pretty much gone. If you are building a performance car beware that this will add weight to your ride. Comfort and performance rarely go hand in hand but saving my hearing and not roasting while driving was well worth it. For the price this is hard to beat and I would rate this 5 stars for value and ease of installation.

Hey ive always just used dynamat but the kit i needed was 156 on amazon and 220 in the store for DO IT YOURSELF PERSON LIKE ME THAT WAS OUT MY PRICE RANGE. i looked for alternatives and found this product.I was skeptical at first, but once i looked at a couple reviews i said worse case scenerio ill have to super glue in on with rubber cement.But long story short IF YOUR INSTALLING UNDER 70 DEGREES WEATHER YOU NEED A HEAT GUN AND A STRONG ROLLER. without those two you'll have hard time installing. 48 cents a sq ft and it works as well as Dynamat at what, triple the cost or more? its a very simple product with four almost no-cost components (not including the cardboard box) that sticks forever to almost anything, has very little odor out of the box, which dissipates within minutes. This quiets most engine and road noise and blocks almost all the heat.

Go ahead and give your money to the Dynamats and other gougers. While you're at it, send a bunch more of your money to Monster for their cables. Its all hype for snobs with too much cash. I'm putting this in my motorhome to make our trips even more enjoyable. I'm glad I found them.

After just a few days of my new interior paint job, I've noticed in areas of "higher usage" spots are beginning to fade and rub off from rubbing my leg or adjacent surfaces to the painted parts. Long story short, not cool BUT I have a fix to this, as followed:

Prior to painting the parts, after cleaned, I highly encourage using a primer that is both compatible with plastics AND a comparable color to your desired finished painted product. For example, if you are painting from light to dark, use a darker colored primer and vise versa. Why? Better coverage and more importantly, better surface adhesion to help prevent peeling and cover any harsh stains.

After painting, to protect your new paint color, I highly recommend using rustoleum brand MATTE clear coat. One light first coat and a slightly heavier top coat should do the trick. This will provide MINIMAL additional gloss without getting too much gloss like a typical clear and as previously stated, add an additional layer of protection to the surface to help aid in the prevention of "rub off". If my paint is rubbing off slightly in just a couple of days, I couldn't imagine what it would look like a year or two down the road!

Products used:

rustoleum black 2x coverage primer (bonds to plastic surfaces and black because painted the parts black) 1-2 light coats

Duplicolor flat black vinyl and fabric adhesive 1 light coat 3 top coats.

Rustoleum 2x coverage MATTE (low gloss) clear coat. 2 light uniform coats.

Allow yourself plenty of time between priming and painting and painting and clear coating to avoid chemical reactions and blending of products. I waited about a half hour between products. Might be longer if weather doesn't cooperate.

Beautiful end result once these addition steps are taken!

About me: I have my own automotive detailing business so I know a thing or two about car interiors. I own a 1994 Ford Bronco that was my "test" vehicle when it came to this product.

Vinyl/plastic: this product adheres quite well to properly prepped vinyl and plastic. Please be advised however that if you have extremely flexible rubbery vinyl surfaces that this product will NOT adhere to the surface efficiently and as it flexes it WILL crack and peel off. This doesn't effect the overall rating, just something to keep in mind. Moderately firm vinyl is a NON issue.

Fabric: ive seen positive reviews and I can NOT trust these sources. First of all, if you are thinking of spraying seats and or carpeting, stop wasting your time and money HERE. It will take way too much product to cover the surface, it will NEVER look completely thorough and this is especially true when trying your hardest to change from a darker color to a lighter color. Finally, when finished, the end result is stiff like you just sprayed hair spray all over your carpeting and cloth upholstery. Don't believe me? Buy a can and test it first on an old worn out floor mat. Sure, someone out there might feel "somewhat satisfied" with the overall outcome, but even that person deep down inside will have some regret once they are finished. Bottom line, try it first and DON'T even try going from a darker original color to a lighter color. Even going from a tan floor mat to black took me an amazing two cans which translates to about 15.00, for a single floor mat. You can buy quality replacement mats for cheaper, new ones!

My trucks tan interior has always bothered me. I hate tan unless its on some sports illustrated supermodel... Tan has no place in the world though when it comes to me and vehicles. I successfully transformed the tan interior into black interior and the black accents were successfully transformed to silver. I do not recommend the gloss for dash boards and areas of direct sunlight reflection concern. I used the flat black instead.

Your product WILL scratch easily when finished. Be sure to take extra precaution as to not excessively rough the surface up or you will be unpleasantly surprised at the outcome. With that being said, I did not use nor see the product in the duplicolor line "low luster clearcoat" but it does exist in other lines. This may be a very good choice to consider to help protect your freshly painted parts without adding excessive blinding gloss and glare from the suns reflection.

Application:

I cleaned all of my painted pieces with Meguiars all purpose cleaner, which I HIGHLY recommend to you automotive enthusiasts out there. It's cheap and effective on many surfaces including your own homes carpeting, upholstery, plastic, etc. etc etc...

Before cleaning, I REMOVED all parts to be treated. Depending on the tools you have at your location, and your general skillset/ease or difficulty of your vehicle, this may not be feasible. But it is highly encouraged 1. For your own safety and 2. To prevent overspray on undesirable areas.

If you do spray the parts in your vehicle make sure to properly mask off all surrounding surfaces and WEAR a chemical respirator. This stuff is strong and will put off nauseating fumes. Open all windows and doors as well.

Once cleaned, I took a fresh lint free towel along with a 50/50 blend of alcohol and water. This is a fast drying "solution" that ensures any oil and grease has been removed. While we are at it, wear nitrile or at least latex gloves. One thing I've learned in working within the auto body industry is your hands sweat and generate oils and grease. Your wasting your time cleaning if you are soiling the parts in the process.

Paint application: first cost must be a light misting. The part won't look covered at all at this point. I waited 10 minutes between costs at 75 degrees and low humidity. Wait longer if the temperature is colder, the air is still and or the humidity is high. I happened to have perfect painting conditions., for being outdoors that is.

Second coat and at least third coat your surfaces. The more coats the merrier but I wouldn't suggest you need more than 3 coats after your first light coat.

One nice thing is, under favorable weather conditions, this product dries quickly, even to the touch. I reinstalled all of my parts about an hour after final coat with no issues whatsoever, if you removed your parts, take care when reinstalling not to scratch the surface. This is easier said than done considering often times parts will fight you, slip, fall and mind you, you will be using tools to reinstall often times, allowing for sharp objects to damage your freshly painted surfaces.

Bottom line: hard plastic and firm vinyl, I highly recommend this product for older vehicles or vehicles that have seen much wear, I couldn't recommend taking this product to a brand spanking new car that has minimal to no flaws though.

Fabric: avoid at all costs. By the time you get done you likely won't be satisfied and you will have spent a very good fraction of the cost that you could have spent to just replace your vehicles carpeting or headliner altogether. My own personal estimation of my vehicle is that if I were to do the entire carpeting and headliner I would need about 9-10 cans only to marginally yield a somewhat subpar result. At 7.00 a pop, that's roughly 75.00. Comparably, I can replace my own carpeting and headliner with NEW material for about 225.00. Yes, 3 times the cost, but if well maintained, I could get it to last as long as my original 20 year old carpeting and be thoroughly satisfied with the end result.

I have used red,blue, many cans of black and even white. it works awesome. clean the surface with wax and grease remover. this is a must!! the worse it smells the better it works. nothing oil based like orange. then scuff surface with a scuff pad, green, red, or gray. like you would use in the kitchen, to clean pots. scuff it up real good, going over it several times. Then clean again with wax and grease remover. paint an even, very light coat. timer 3-4 minutes. paint an even medium coat wait exactly 5 minutes. paint a medium to heavy, even, wet coat. wait 15 minutes to handle. NO peeling!!!! No Camo blotches!!!! just perfect paint that lasts on plastic and soft materials. i have not tried it on fabric.

I used this to paint my green booths in my coffee shop black. One can was enough for a double sided booth. You need a respirator if you like keeping the brain cells you have though. Leaves a nice satin finish that doesn't look like a cheaply painted shiny fabric. I used what was left to repaint my motorcycle seat and it looks just as good. I sat in the booths with light pants on and no color was transferred. A+ grade from me.

Needed a bike adaptor so the kids' bikes would fit on the bike rack. Their crossbars were either too low or too thick to fit. Most adaptors have a minimum length of 18" or longer. The distance on our kids' bikes was 16"(that's the distance BETWEEN the seat post and the handlebar post.) The SportRack A34500 will fit a bike with a minimum distance of about 14 3/4". It is VERY sturdy and strong, and has a protective coating so the bike doesn't get scratched. Very easy to operate, as each end slides open and then slides back, locking into place. The small loop goes on the seat post first, then the large loop goes around the handlebar post. The length is simply adjusted by pulling the tubes apart, or sliding them back together--no locking mechanism needed (and doesn't get in the way.) Only drawback--price! About $30 a piece (I bought three of them....ka ching!) However, Amazon gives free shipping, so make sure to take that into consideration. The nice thing is, when the kids get new bikes, I don't have to worry whether they will fit on the bike rack or not--the adaptor will take care of that. I like this product for the most part. It does what it claims. It clamps easily to your bike and allows you to transport it on a bike car carrier somewhat horizontal. My bike carrier clamps to the product firmly but the adaptor fits loosely on the bike, ( i wish it would fit the bike tightly but it doesn't. I have a way to modify it but I just don't have the time). You also need to securely attach bike with straps to carrier otherwise bike may bounce. On my setup, the adaptor fits around the bottom of the seat and handle bars. It states in the instructions to make sure your seat and handlebars are secure or they will detach from the bike. THEY ARE ACCURATE. Just install per instructions and you shall arrive at your destination with your bike. I purchased one from Sports Chalet and one from Amazon.com. Amazon was cheaper. Have fun!

I use this with adapter with my full-suspension mountain bike (Specialized Epic) to load onto either my Soft-Ride DuraAssist hitch rack, or my Saris Bones 3 trunk rack. It is well-made, proving to be very durable through a lot of use over the last year without much wear to show for it. It fits securely on my bike, and the two "side gates" that open on the ends work very well when attaching it to my bike. I have tried this with my kids bikes as well (Specialized Hot Rock 16") but the adapter is just slightly too long, so probably best only for 20" bikes and above.

I've always had weathertech floor mats in my previous car and decided to take a chance on these. Overall these are a better fit than the weathertechs that I had. They do a nice job keeping all the dirt in.

they look great, seem tough and should last a long time. they stay in place better, but I wish that only they extended forward more underneath the front seats.
