This kit works if you want a double DIN in your 2010+ Camaro dash.

Pros:

-Integration is there, no need for steering modules, etc. Just get an antenna adapter.

-Buttons are actually decent quality, easy touch.

-Can change LCD color to make it match car or HU lighting.

-Proper radio that Chevy should have put in, I now have nav, movies, etc. in my dash!

-Amazon price on this is great!

Cons:

-Manual is wrong on dash cut, need more room for the wiring, and leave the bolted part there.

-My unit cam with hairline scratches from the factory, and a molding cut right on the LCD.

-Can't change button color as far as I can tell, and it doesn't match the Camaro

-Light leak from LCD, had to cover

-Chimes and turn signal sound cheesy, I removed cap to get rid of it.

-IMO the DD unit would look a lot better if it weren't so recessed.

Overall, this is pretty much your only choice for a double-din for your 2010+ Camaro, and it does do the job. Could be better though.

Great instructions for installation. Before installation, contact metra with serial number on back of black box to check for software updates. Front speakers were not working so I had to send it in for an update and install twice.

Great product. Gray color matches rest of dash nice, all functions work as described. Looks so much better than the stock unit!

I saw videos showing bad fit but I don't know what they did but mine fits perfect with no gaps around the unit.

I bought this kit and had a wonderful time with it! The pink wire had a male adapter and on the other line to connect it to had a but connector instead of a female. Also my harness didn't have a remote line so I had to tap into the car charger line to make my radio cut on with the car. By the way if you don't connect the pink wires your air won't change blower modes like it will come out the defrost vents and won't switch to the dash. After its all said and done it does look nice in the car though.

I have purchased two the first one worked for the first 3 weeks than for some reason the led lights on the soft buttons stopped working properly. I have already changed the system so I'm stuck. Would just like one that works. called Metro tech and they told me that that they have not heard of it. I read other reviews and others have had the same problem. The second one came in and whole bottom row of lights not working. Good interface and everything works beside the led lights issues.
