These were easy to install and have been very durable. They don't quite fit flush to the door and trim, but it doesn't make a difference in their ability to protect the floor. Heavy and sturdy material. Easy to clean. No sliding on the carpet at all these really stay in place. We did front and back and it was a great investment!

A closeup of the product indicates it's a 2" cushion -I missed the product description that says it's 1". It is overall seemingly a good product ( I just used it for the first time today), but a warning is that because it's gel waffle design, it picks up the temperature of the air. If your car interior is cold, your cushion will be, too..and doesn't seem to warm up very quickly! ;-/

I got a couple of these a coupld weeks back after watching a Mythbusters episode about submerged cars. For my wife the unit is small and easily added to here key ring. I hung mine from the seatbelt in my car. I had some tempered glass laying around my garage, so I gave it a quick try. It worked as expected. With just a little bit of pressure the glass was punctured and immediately shattered.

I highly recommend this device, especially give its low price.

While I haven't had to use in an emergency, I did test this product out on an old car door/window assembly and it worked quickly and easily. Just press it against the window (it takes a little bit of pressure) and it instantly crumbles to pieces. Even above water the glass didn't explode, it simply crumbled away. In water I would guess it would just float safely away but broken glass would be the least of your worries if you were in that situation.

I've always read that in order for equipment to save you, it has to be with you. The ResQMe Mini is pretty small about 3 inches long with the keyring/protector inserted and 1 1/4" wide and 5/8" tall.

It has a plastic insert blade guard which "locks" into place to protect the razor blade intended to cut through a stuck seat belt (or potentially cut through clothes or shoes that are caught if the fabric is thin enough). I have to admit that I'm disappointed in this design to some degree. While I understand the necessity, I think that a dedicated lanyard or keyring hole in the body casing would have proven stronger and less likely to fail. It's not that the insert is easy to fall out, it's just that it can. The razor is firmly seated and double edged, so it's very sharp.

The spring loaded glass breaker uses a hardened steel pin which is hidden behind a plastic cowl. This cowl is difficult to depress, but it charges the spring for the pin to release with enough pressure to break the side window of your car. The spike is self-resetting and may be used many times. The manufacturer, states that it takes 12lbs (5kg) of force to fire. The tool will not break windshields or laminated glass. Some auto side windows are laminated! So check your vehicle model or call your dealer as this may not work in your particular car (though it's not common yet, many cars are getting safety upgrades now). It should break most rear windows too.

While the Mini Escape tool is small enough to fit in a pocket, it could be bulky on a keychain. I like to keep my accessories to a bare minimum, so I'd prefer it in a smaller formfactor. I've already noted the problem with the keyring mounting position. The quality of the plastic is very good and the blade hook is reinforced well. I'm giving it a 3.5, rounding down for the weak keyring placement.

I think that many people wouldn't mind carrying this in their pocket or on their keyring. I will do so, since that is why I bought it, but I hope the NGV folks who make the ResQMe line of products comes out with a more compact design with a permanent lanyard hole.

The shipping was amazing got it in two days after ordering it the only thing was when the mechanic put it on the strut mounts were wrong the had put the wrong strut mounts with it for my 95 jetta so now i need to call and try and get them to send me the correct strut mount and then i'll be stuck paying another mechanics fee to get it put on..

I just finished installing it on my 1970 Corvette 454/465HP motor. FANTASTIC!!! We bought two of these ipad holders to take on our summer road trip so that our children could watch movies during the long car rides. They fit perfectly over the back headrest of both our minivan and the rented Yukon XL we drove. They are easy to use and the adjustable velcro is very tough and durable and easy to mount and stick over different sized headrests. We could even adjust the angle of the ipad, lowering it, raising it and pulling it to one side depending on which person in the row was watching the movie. It worked perfectly in the third row using the second row headrests as well. We packed them in their original boxes in checked luggage and they held up well. They are light, portable, easy to store, and not bogged down by unnecessary fixtures and gadgets. We had looked at several online and these seemed the best value overall. The price (around $20 each) was a huge factor. You can't go wrong with these... we're glad we bought them and highly recommend them.

I received this item (from Imagination Productions) before the delivery estimated date which was great! Pretty solid unit. The plastic case and velcro strap seems very well built. I like it so far! This is way better than the other headrest mounts that are out there because it's easy to insert and remove your iPad without having to unlock or twist anything. Also, most other mounts attach below the headrest so they appear too low for the kids when watching movies. Plus they cost too much because it's built like steel. Come-on guys... it's just a headrest for kids so they can stay quiet and be entertained in the car!

I searched in youtube for car mount reviews and I found this one! iPADKET should thank the guy who reviewed this on youtube because he definitely help me finalized my decision to buy this product. But the only negative thing I noticed that's missing was a cut-out area for the iPad 2 upper right corner speaker. I hope they fix this for the next version. As simple as it gets--and as effective as it gets. The strap is wide, elasticized and has a giant strip of velcro, so it sits snugly against the headrest, even on bumpy rides. The iPad just slides right in with no fuss, and the controls are accessible through the cutouts in the plastic. The iPad 2 fits in perfectly with the Smart Cover flipped around to the back. My only suggestion for improvement is adding small felt circles to the frame of the plastic that will be touching the iPad's screen. I love this product, however there are three things I'd change if I could. I use the iPad in the car so that I can show my child cartoons on long car rides. It's easier than trying to get him to hold it or having to constantly fix it when he manages to change the show, turn down or off the sound, etc.

1. One thing that you should consider is that you'll want to mount it with the velcro closure INSIDE of the headrest, because otherwise you'll end up catching someone's hair in the front seat.

2. Depending on the position of the headrest, you'll need to push down to get the iPad to go into the holder because there's barely enough room to angle it into the opening otherwise. And the hole to connect the charger is always on the wrong side if you have your carseat mounted on the passenger side of the car, so you have to stretch a cord to charge it while driving.

3. Because of the need to angle, I've ruined one screen protector and my mother just ruined the second one. So, if you'll constantly use the device you MUST be careful putting it into the holder.

What I love is how secure it is. I've used it on trips to Memphis, TN from Michigan, as well as trips to Ann Arbor and Mackinaw Island. It's a life saver with a two year old. Its never come close to falling down and it's very sturdy. Sometimes I've forgotten that the iPad is there and I'll turn it off and leave it. Thank goodness for tinted windows!

I purchased this product blindly, never having heard this model or even a similar one from a competitor. This means I have nothing to compare it to, but I don't mind. This one fitted my budget and also the space below my front seats like it was made for it (I have a small sedan).

I wired this to a head unit that has a dedicated subwoofer output and low-pass filter, in addition to a high-pass filter for the main speakers. I have both filters set to 80Hz, and I believe that the system blends nicely with these settings.

One objective measure I can share is that before installing this subwoofer, I would sometimes increase the volume of my head unit up to level 18 (no units, just "18"). After installing the subwoofer and setting its gain to a level I liked, I don't think I'd ever take the HU volume beyond 15. At that point everything sounds quite loud, clear and pleasing.

Music definitely sounds more "complete" and different instruments sounds more distinct. It is an interesting effect... if I turn off the main speakers, then the woofer alone seems to be barely doing anything; however, when the main speakers are on –and if– I lower the subwoofer gain to its lowest level while I am listening to some music, then the bass loss is quite noticeable.

Bottom line: "The whole" sounds way better than the sum of its parts, and for the price (Amazon's price not the MSRP) this is a great product. I will definitely buy again for my next car.

Just had this installed in my Fiat Abarth. This little sub fit perfectly under my passenger seat. It's not for someone that listen to music that is heavy with bass punch(rap music). It is rather for someone with little space to spare but wanted a FULLER/RICHER sound experience.

This little powered sub is exactly what I wanted. It adds a noticeable amount of bass to the tunes in my car without making the whole vehicle buzz. If bass that rattles your whole car is what you're seeking then this is probably not the right speaker for you. Best of all, it fits nicely right under either front seat in a Honda Civic (2004). Delivered with all the wires, connectors, mounting brackets, and hardware necessary for installation, and easy to follow instructions for installation and operation. Also included is a wired remote control if you feel the need to fiddle with the sound. Personally, I don't think it's necessary and have chosen to set it and forget it and do whatever tweaking is needed from the head unit. All in all, a pretty cool little unit.

Had this sub-woofer professionally installed. The installer told me that when he plugged in the remote the sub-woofer stopped working. I decided to leave the sub-woofer in and not use the remote. So it is workign but can't be adjusted. It would have cost me too much to have it removed (and re-installed) in order to return it (or get a replacement). I have since tried a few times to get the remote to work however indeed it shuts off or makes a terrible sound when I plug in the remote.

I purchased this for my Jeep Wrangler (2000) to cover some weathered seats.

First off I really like all the storage it provides my Jeep so I give that a positive review.

However, they don't seem to be all that weather resistant and they already show some signs of wear and tear. The biggest issue I have though is they have started to turn purple where some rain water got on them when I had my top down.

So now I have tan seat covers except where rainwater got on them, and they are a nice lavender color. Needless to say that doesn't look too good. You would think something such as these seat colors would be color durable to water.

Tan seat covers faded within 3 months. Molle webbing falling apart where exposed to the sun. Sent pics to Smittybilt and they replaced only one seat cover ( i have two). Now no response from Smittybilt. Love the concept but wish they were better quality.

I bought 5661024 GEAR seat covers this spring for my truck. I have about 1000 miles on the truck with them and they have torn at the lower back attachment points on the front cover, the nylon is shredding at contact points on the lower and back seat edges, and the tan seat covers have discolored (turning green) due to sweat and sunlight. Very poor quality product. Definitely not military-type quality materials.

I own a 2003 Wrangler. There covers arent really made for these seats. The top strap barley fits over the top and the bottom seat portion rides so far up the bottom seat pockets really are impractical. If you had an earlier jeep model where the seats arent as high, these would be perfect. However the idea behind these is awsome. They give you much needed little knick-knac storage space and they just plain look cool. I like mine and am keeping mine.... but I was expecting a good fit, and these are far from a good fit.

Product is high quality and meets the description. Fit is a little iffy and it doesn't go onto the seat nearly as nicely as in the picture (surprise!). Also, now that it is on I am a little concerned that it will leave wear marks on the brown leather over time. Overall though a great product. Also, I primarily bought it for carrying a 1911 .45ACP out of plain site, but accessible (Texas laws). It is a great application for that purpose. The front pocket holds my 1911 no problem and even unzipped you cannot see it from any of the windows.

Like the title said, I haven't, and hope I never have to use them. They seem to be of decent quality and are not so big that they are a pain to keep in the center console of my wife's and my cars. I recommend the center console instead of the glove box so if you are trapped in your car you can reach it to cut out of the seat belt. Just a thought... For the price it seems like a great little piece of insurance.

I waited too long to return this product!! It doesn't work like a punch that I can figure out. I thought all of these products had kind of a "trigger" effect. I would have just put a hammer in my car rather than one of these and saved my money. In fact I probably will do that and put these in Goodwill. Waste of money!!
