I looked at several front seat organizers, and this seemed to offer the best features at the best price (purchased it used from the Amazon Warehouse deals). After using it for a few trips, I'm very pleased with its performance.

The organizer is divided into three sections. The back third has a cover with a velcro latch so you can keep things hidden. The cover folds back so it stays out of the way when you want it open. The middle section is one large compartment. The front section is divided into three compartments.

The outside of the organizer has several pockets that are large enough to hold cell phones, candy, and the like. The base has a non-slip coating that works well no slipping at all on leather seats. There's also a "tail piece" that you can use to anchor the box to the seat if you really want it to be secure. I didn't see a need to do that.

The material is tough and all the seams are well-stitched/fastened. It appears that it will last for quite a while without any problems. There are two recessed pockets on either side that act as handles so you can easily pick it up and take it out of the car.

This is the medium size organizer. There is also a small and a large. I actually wanted the large, but went with the medium since the price was so good. But, now that I have it, I'm glad I went with this size it's more than big enough to hold what I want, and not so large that you can't stow it easily when there's a passenger in the front seat.

Very handy, and keeps the car mess way down. Highly recommend!

Don't know why they call it a console organizer because it is not made to fit on the console. However, it is the perfect size for sitting on the front seat next to you. Holds in a central location and at your fingertips all of the front seat junk that was previously floating around on the floor, car pocket, door pockets. This is fine--right size. I usually have a water bottle, a box of boutique size tissues, one cd case that holds, say a 12 cd-book, pen, mints, couple of maps, other small odds and ends. I use the main covered compartment to hide my TomTomGPS in when parked, the three smaller pockets are perfect for holding drink bottles of various sizes (my car's built-in cupholders didn't fit my beloved Camelbak 32oz bottle) and wraparound driving sunglasses, the smaller mesh exterior pockets on 3 sides are good for a cellphone, garage door opener, mini-flashlight, disposable sunglass wipes, folding spoon/knife and fork/corkscrew utensils, small MP3 player, etc.

Contrary to its name, this thing does NOT fit on top of the console between my two front seats by a longshot...I'd imagine the console in an 18-wheeler, maybe! But the size is perfect for moving from the front seat to the back seat when ferrying a passenger, happily enough.

The ballistic nylon material seems solid and well put together; hopefully this will last me at least as long as I plan to keep the car, which is about 5 years. Got mine from the local Wallyworld for about seventeen bucks, so Amazon's price for it is a bit high at the current twenty bucks.

Full Disclosure: After reviewing a previous version and leaving some suggestions for improvement, MyTradeWorld offered to give me a significant discount on this version as it addresses a few of my suggestions.

The Kit:

That said, this is a solid mounting system. All of TFY's headrest mounts currently use the same setup: a large elastic band with Velcro that wraps around the car's headrest, and a second piece that attaches to your device. The band and has a patch of hook-side Velcro on one side, and piece that mounts to the device itself and has a matching patch of loop-side Velcro on the back.

The other piece in the equation is the actual device holder, which varies by kit. In this case, that takes the form of a flat board that the tablet attaches to, which is approximately the same size as an average 7" tablet. It is covered in vinyl (I think), with a leather texture, stitched nicely around the edges and has a small double-layer elastic strap stitched in across each corner for actually holding the tablet.

Usage:

Installing the band means simply wrapping it around your car's headrest and pressing the Velcro ends together to secure it. If necessary, rotate the band so that the remaining Velcro patch is on the back side of the head rest. Pretty simple. Of course, these are a "one size fits most" type of solution. They fit just fine on each of the 4 cars that I tested with, but if yours has abnormally large headrests or headrests that are integrated into the body of the seat, the bands may not fit.

Attaching a tablet is simply a matter of laying it in the center of the board and pulling each of the elastic corner straps up over the corner of the device. From there, mounting the tablet/board in your car is no more difficult than pressing it up against the back of the headrest where you installed the band portion previously. Installing both halves takes no more than a couple minutes the first time, and well under a minute combined after you've done it once or twice.

Opinions:

The Good-

This setup works surprisingly well! I probably won't be leaving the board attached to my tablet all of the time, but when it is on, it holds the tablet securely, and I'm not afraid of it coming out accidentally under normal usage. The tablet is held in place well enough that it doesn't budge even after driving on the worst of roads, but easy enough to remove that my 3-year-old son can pull it down if he wants to watch something else, or that I can remove it easily by reaching back from the front seat.

This is a pretty flexible system and should work with most 7" tablets. We've been using it primarily with both 2012 and 2013 versions of Google's Nexus 7 and also managed to fit a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, though that did require stretching the elastic straps to their absolute limits.

TFY also includes a Velcro "finger grip" that can be used with the mounting board that helps to hold the tablet with one hand. This was of limited benefit since 7" tablets are pretty easy to grip anyway, but this could be a big help with their similar 10" model.

The Bad-

Depending on your specific device, the elastic retaining straps may block some of the device's hardware buttons. On my Nexus 7, one strap goes right across the power button. This can make it a little difficult to press the button, but I usually manage by slipping my finger under the strap and pressing the button that way.

One weakness to this type of setup is that it doesn't have nearly the flexibility of the mounts with articulated arms. The tablet will face directly back from the headrest, and there is very little you can do to pivot it up and down or side to side. Since I bought this for my only son to use, this doesn't matter for us just yet, but it may not work all that well if you have multiple people in the back seat attempting to watch the same device.

Conclusion:

As I mentioned previously, this is a very simple design, but the manufacturing execution is excellent and the system does its job very well.

The elastic straps blocking buttons is a minor annoyance, but one that I'm more than willing to put up with for an inexpensive mounting system that I can use with any of our tablets and works this well.

If you only have one 7" device, one of TFY's device-specific mounts may work better for you. However, if you have more than one and want to be able to use the same mount with any of them, this is the way to go!

Pro Tip:

Be sure to wrap the mounting band around the headrest fairly tightly. Otherwise, the weight of the tablet can cause the band to rotate and the tablet will slip lower on the headrest. It's never in danger of falling off, but can end up pointing downward. Tightening the band around the headrest eliminated the problem completely.

I got a couple of these a coupld weeks back after watching a Mythbusters episode about submerged cars. For my wife the unit is small and easily added to here key ring. I hung mine from the seatbelt in my car. I had some tempered glass laying around my garage, so I gave it a quick try. It worked as expected. With just a little bit of pressure the glass was punctured and immediately shattered.

I highly recommend this device, especially give its low price.

While I haven't had to use in an emergency, I did test this product out on an old car door/window assembly and it worked quickly and easily. Just press it against the window (it takes a little bit of pressure) and it instantly crumbles to pieces. Even above water the glass didn't explode, it simply crumbled away. In water I would guess it would just float safely away but broken glass would be the least of your worries if you were in that situation.

I've always read that in order for equipment to save you, it has to be with you. The ResQMe Mini is pretty small about 3 inches long with the keyring/protector inserted and 1 1/4" wide and 5/8" tall.

It has a plastic insert blade guard which "locks" into place to protect the razor blade intended to cut through a stuck seat belt (or potentially cut through clothes or shoes that are caught if the fabric is thin enough). I have to admit that I'm disappointed in this design to some degree. While I understand the necessity, I think that a dedicated lanyard or keyring hole in the body casing would have proven stronger and less likely to fail. It's not that the insert is easy to fall out, it's just that it can. The razor is firmly seated and double edged, so it's very sharp.

The spring loaded glass breaker uses a hardened steel pin which is hidden behind a plastic cowl. This cowl is difficult to depress, but it charges the spring for the pin to release with enough pressure to break the side window of your car. The spike is self-resetting and may be used many times. The manufacturer, states that it takes 12lbs (5kg) of force to fire. The tool will not break windshields or laminated glass. Some auto side windows are laminated! So check your vehicle model or call your dealer as this may not work in your particular car (though it's not common yet, many cars are getting safety upgrades now). It should break most rear windows too.

While the Mini Escape tool is small enough to fit in a pocket, it could be bulky on a keychain. I like to keep my accessories to a bare minimum, so I'd prefer it in a smaller formfactor. I've already noted the problem with the keyring mounting position. The quality of the plastic is very good and the blade hook is reinforced well. I'm giving it a 3.5, rounding down for the weak keyring placement.

I think that many people wouldn't mind carrying this in their pocket or on their keyring. I will do so, since that is why I bought it, but I hope the NGV folks who make the ResQMe line of products comes out with a more compact design with a permanent lanyard hole.

After one complete canadian winter, I can say that these do a great job of protecting the car's carpeting from salt and dirt. They can hold a lot of liquid, which is good.

3 downsides are:

1. Emptying them, once filled with liquid, is difficult to do (without pouring some on the car's floor) since they must be tilted to be removed. You need to empty them with a sponge first.

2. The bottom of your pants dip in the dirt the liners have accumulated.

3. Plastic is somewhat thin. Having them in place year long, I believe they will wear out (creating holes) eventually. Only time will tell..

I first time I purchased these floor mats was for my 2007 Toyota Yaris. The second time was for my 2010 Toyota Pruis. And now for the third time I purchased a set for my 2012 Toyota Sienna Van. As you can see I do not keep a car more than 3 yrs. I purchased not only this but also the 171924 thus, I installed four new strut assemblies at once. Install for the front was super easy: it took more time to raise the car on jack than to replace the front struts! The rears were more labor intensive due to removal of interior parts to access the strut towers. Just to mention these units were installed on a 1994 Saturn SC2 coupe. Two complaints: 1) Now I have a car that is always squeaking when I turn the wheels or make any other movements, not the greatest. 2) Manual of installation said the car would seat a bit higher until the units settled; its been over a month and the car looks like an off-road vehicle. Ride is great and I notice the difference in braking and handling but, wish it didn't squeak and the ride height would finally settle.

Over-all I would rate this product great especially for installation purposes but, it does have these minor short comings and cannot rate it excellent.

This emergency tool seems good for breaking side-window auto glass, has a bright flashlight, and a surprisingly good AM/FM radio. BUT, this tool DOES NOT have a cell phone charging system. It has a battery charging system that works on AA sized rechargeable batteries only which work well in my tests. There is nothing to charge any cell phone I have ever used and no adapters to do so. So buyer beware. This is false and misleading in the product description.

Three stars for all the other features. This is essentially a one-sided "punch"(cone)-hammer (other brands are probably better having double sided punches). This hammer is very large, long and probably has more power to break glass that other brands. Also the handle is large enough to break out the rest of the window glass in a circular motion, with less probability of hurting your hands. Close your eyes when breaking glass or shield you eyes and face somehow: arm, glasses, a large object -book, purse, box, blanket, etc. The seat belt cutter is placed better than other brands in that you pull down (stronger direction to pull) to cut rather than pull up (weaker direction to pull). Some sawing action is probably needed, with short strokes to cut the belt short jerky cuts seem more effective than one smooth pull. I suggest removing the red rubber cap over the glass cutter for faster use. The tool barely fits in glove compartment because it is so long. There are no hook-and-loop or other fasteners included.

I love it! Lightweight, fits like a glove and blends excellently with the interior of the car. Catches everything you throw at it except the Kitchen sink. These floor mats fit like a glove and look great. The rear mat is one continuous mat that covers the "bump" without looking bulky or ugly. In fact, it is so sleek, you hardly notice it. The sides form a wall like barrier to collect any spills, rain or melted snow. They do not have too many grooves or bumps so they are easy to vacuum. I typically vacuum once every few weeks, then wipe off the mats with a Windex like cleaner, they continue to look brand new. Definitely worth the price and will protect your car's carpets from stains damage and general wear and tear. This is a true "5 star" product. These liners fit like a glove. They stay put and can hold a surprising amount of dirt/water/you-name-it so don't end up with filthy, soaked carpet. I especially appreciate them during the winter months when you have to deal with all the salty street slush on your shoes.
