Even though the item description says "With Charger", it doesn't come with a charger. I contacted the seller and they pointed me to the content description, which doesn't mention a charger as their explanation for the discrepency.
If it had a charger, it would be 5 stars and if they had not included the content description, I'd give it 1 star. So between the description "With Charger" and the contents description not mentioning a charger, I'll give 3 stars.
Perhaps a better description would be "With Charger Capability".

This is the second time I've tried to get a car mount for my Droid Razr and the second time I got a car mount for something other than a Droid Razr. This is my first car mount and it makes using my GPS so much easier. I love that I can leave the mount plugged into the charger, and don't have to plug and unplug my phone, having cords everywhere. I wish the cord that hooks my phone up to my car radio speaker was also integrated, but it is separate. As one other reviewer noted, this is the exact same dock as its more expensive counterpart, except it does NOT come with a vehicle charger. It comes with an AUX wire for audio, but that's it. If you want to charge your phone while docked in the car, you'll have to buy the charger separately. I'm not even sure why this unit is sold, to be honest.Regardless, I'm not knocking off a star for the product not having something I think it should have, because holding a product to a standard it doesn't claim to have is ridiculous to me. The one star knock off is because I had one of these mounted to the windshield and I parked my car in the sun for two days in North Carolina and the backing plate (a plastic insert that makes the dock adaptable for both Razr and Razr Maxx) warped in the heat to the point that the bend in the plastic was enough that my phone could no longer mount the charger and function normally. So I had to buy a new one. This is odd to me because the housing plastic did NOT melt whatsoever in the heat, nor did any of the other plastic pieces. So I'm knocking off a star because the plastic insert which makes this dock fit a Razr is made from a cheaper, flimsier plastic than the rest of the unit.
Note to users of the Razr Maxx: you MIGHT be able to buy this vehicle dock and remove the plastic insert and save some money, as I noticed the same vehicle dock for the Maxx is more expensive. Again, you MIGHT be able to get away with this, but I'm not sure, as I haven't tried it out. I can't think of any purpose for the plastic insert which sits in the housing except that the manufacturer wanted to save cost and make one housing for both phones vs. one housing for each type (this is manufacturing 101 use as much crossover parts among various options/models as possible). Regardless, Maxx users try this at your own risk.
