I have leather seats in my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Things slip off on even slight turns. I had been trying figure out a way to modify something to do what the GoBand does.

It works. I particularily like the ability to slip it down so that a passenger can use the seat as if it wasn't there. A couple of my neighbor Ladies saw it installed and imeadiately ordered one for themselves.

Two things I did to make it work better.

The seats in my Jeep are much wider at the bottom and have flares on the sides at the bottom. This makes the seat too large around at the bottom for the GoBand. It fit fine around the part of the seat with out the flares. So I used cable ties to add about two inches in extra length. Perfect fit now. Also tall things like a half gallon of milk can tip sideways. So I added a slip cord to the GoBand that allows me to secure things better from tipping side to side. This is a really useful product. It is well put together and I think it will hold up to years of use. Very good value for the Amazon price.

Installed in my F250 truck for a coast-to-coast drive across the U.S.

Unfortunately, the seat cover is designed to fit a seat that has a removable headrest, which my truck doesn't have.

I was, however, able to rig the seat cover to fit over the seat.

Pros: Comfortable, provides a lot of cooling air flow between driver and seat, seems to make long trip easier on rear-end and back.

Cons: By the end of our 5-day, 2400 mile trip, the seat cover broke and had to be thrown away.

For the price, I would have expected it to last longer. I'd also like to see the design improved to better fit vehicle seats that don't have a removable headrest.

This product wasn't "universal" as described. We really had to stretch them to fit the seats in my 2010 Jeep Wrangler, so they weren't flush with the seat, leaving a big air pocket in the seat crevice. We thought eventually they would stretch enough, but after several days, we were unimpressed and ended up sending them back.

Also, the straps that stretch under the seat were wimpy thin, with plastic hooks. I anticipated they might break easily. The texture of the material was not exactly comfortable pure nylon.

The Steeler logo was bright and large. We were really hoping to make these covers work they had a visual appeal and were a great price, but unfortunately poorly designed for my vehicle.

I bought this product because I'm pregnant and have a hard time adjusting the seat belt to fit below my belly without choking me (only 5'4"). I like the thick padding but it really doesn't help with the choking bit. Also with the pad on I cannot use an additional seat belt adjuster, there just isn't room. So I have to decide if in an accident I strangle myself or crush the baby......disappointed, especially for the price.

I ordered and received two lapbelts. One was fine, but the other one had a broken fastener strap. The seller then sent me a replacement, but it was a shoulder belt. Then they sent another lap belt, but it is also defective. Don't order these lapbelts unless you have a lot of time to waste. It has been close to a month since I placed my original order.

So if u r carrying twins you know about that lower abdominal pressure... No sense in adding the pressure of the seatbelt on top of that. But security being a must u need ur seatbelt, so get this. It looks bulky, but if you have to be in the car for more than 5 minutes you will thank me. It makes the added seatbelt pressure go away! My guess is that in the event I will undergo a C-section, it will help also on the way home and to the dr visit...

This is a great product for those of us who are vertically challenged and struggle with getting that seatbelt to fit properly. I gave it 4 of 5 stars (I really wanted to give it 4.75.) because it isn't completely mindless to use. However, I haven't found anything out there that works as well and I'm back for more.

There are two versions of this product; slide-lock (LooPo) and screw-lock (Traveling LooPo) I originally purchased six of the slide-lock version and liked it so much I decided to get more. (I travel often and have depleted my first supply by inadvertently leaving them in rental cars.)

The slide-lock version is easier to use after it is installed on the seatbelt. It has 3 pieces; top, bottom, and the red lock. Installing is a 2-handed operation that could benefit from a third hand. You hold the bottom against the belt and slide the top+lock into the channels on either side from the bottom. Unfortunately, the lock tends to fall out while you are trying to align the top and bottom, and all of this while you fight the seatbelt as it tries to retract. This can be frustrating, but once it's on, it works well. Just slide the lock to open, position the LooPo on the seatbelt, and slide the lock to close. The belt stays where you put it; no slipping.

The travel version consists of two pieces; the black clip that fits around the seatbelt, and a screw lock. To install, you remove the screw lock, slide the belt into the clip, and replace the screw lock; although it takes a little effort to get the screw to align with the threads. To position the Traveling LooPo, unscrew the lock a couple of turns, slide the clip, and screw the lock back in. You do not have to completely remove the screw to position the LooPo on the seatbelt. Unscrewing and screwing takes a few seconds longer than slide-locking, but the seatbelt stays where you put it; no slipping.

You do not have to remove either LooPo version to completely retract the seatbelt when you leave the car. Just slide the LooPo down to the seatbelt tab.

I carry at least one of these with me at all times so I can use it no matter what car I'm in or which seat I occupy. Money well spent.
