This is the second one I have purchased, the first one lasted about a year and the motor died. They do what they say by supplying a slight "breeze" under your bottom and lower back.

The straps are cheap and not sewn in very well. The motor is somewhat noisy, if you have a quiet car you WILL notice it. I drive a diesel truck and it's not too bad.

This 2nd one I have does not seem to work as well as the other one and does not have the auto shut off. ???

For the price it's worth it so you don't get sweaty driving long distances with leather seats.

bought one of these a year ago. lets just say I havent bothered to put it back in for this summer. why? well it just doesnt work that well. when I first fired it up, it seemed pretty good. I was pleased. not overwhelmed, but pleased. however, after a short time, it just didnt seem to do much especially in the portion that is supposed to cool your back. it was so-so under the legs but disappointing for my sweaty back (I am 5'7" 155 so not the obese/sweaty variety). I guess that maybe sitting on it compresses the air channels that carry it to the back area? that must explain it after a while, it just wasnt worth hearing the EXTRA LOUD FAN and lowering my mpg by using power (mostly the noise). too bad, I think it would be worth it otherwise but as it stands, I cannot recommend it.

The seat itself works well. I would say the air could blow out a little stronger. I don't have AC in my car right now and it's about 90-100 degrees outside. It did offer some releif though. My biggest complaint is that it is extremely uncomfortable to sit on.

This item works but turns itself off at unknown times. It is VERY loud wasn't as loud when I first got it from my wife as a Christmas present. When it was working it was great! Driving around in and out of the car in business attire it keeps me from being sweaty by the end of the day but it can rival the GPS in sound level.

I bought this in late July, it really only worked on the lower seat portion, the back, not so much.

Last week it made an awful noise and seized (early October)

So I got less than 3 months use on a mediocre product that only delivered half of what it should have.

It was a fun toy, but in the end, not worth about a dollar a day for its use....

I would recommend that you try something else rather than purchase this thing.....

I love the seat cover it makes driving more comfortable and it matches the black interior in my car very well. However, the product isn't durable at all. The wooden beads chip off and they beads start falling off only after a couple of months. So overall it's just okay.

These covers should last for the life of the Jeep. They are well built and easy to install. It would have been nice to have a wider color selection though.

After only a couple of weeks I don't think I've had enough riding time to write a valid review. It feels comfortable on my daily commute, and is definitely an improvement over the BMW R1200 GS seat. I'm taking a 5,000 mile trip in about a month and will update this review when I return.

Update!

In 2004, I took a 9,000 mile trip across the US without the Airhawk; I rode about 10 hours each day. My butt began to go numb at the end of the first day, and this numbness spread wider and wider until by the end of my three weeks on the road, there was a significant area, on both cheeks, where I could feel anything. And this condition lasted for two months afterward.

In the Summer of 2010, I did a 4,100 mile trip through Canada, again spending about 10 hours in the saddle each day. I didn't feel any numbness at all, and only the slightest tingling sensation after about day four. But even though I started noticing the tingling, by the next morning it was gone.

The Airhawk works very well. I leave it on my bike all the time--even for city commutes. In addition to the Airhawk, I recommend that you wear a riding suite; and inside your suit you wear either sweat pants or pants with no rear pockets. If you spend more than six hours a day in the saddle, even the stitching can feel like you're sitting on a block of wood.

I've owned 2 deifferent "large cruiser" size airhawks. They were both awesome while they stayed inflated but that didn't happen for long.

My 1st one went flat right after the warranty expired. I called and they fought me tooth and nail when I asked for a replacement. A $150+ cushion should last for more than 2 years! Otherwise, I'd could just buy a bunch of gel seats or other cycle seats that can't deflate... for a lot less money.

I finally got someone higher up in the roho company and he agreed to send me another cushion.

Well, I've been using that cushion sparingly for less than a year and it now won't hold air.

These things are very comfy when they're inflated but they're useless when they won't hold air.

For $150+, an item should last a lot longer than 1-2 years.

I give the roho airhawk a 2 out of 5.

I used this all Summer on my Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Classic. Most of the longer rides were 200 to 300 miles in a day, for reference. I have lower back problems due to arthritis and typically within an hour of riding the pain would begin. Within 3 hours, riding was no longer fun and I couldn't wait for the next traffic light or gas stop. With the Airhawk I didn't start to feel any discomfort at all until about 3 hours of constant riding. I learned that shifting my position a bit could extend that even longer. It does double or triple your ride time as claimed. This beats out any gel cushion I've tried. This product seems to be made very well and the neoprene seems so thick I can't imagine how badly you would have to mistreat it to damage it. I have a non-neoprene Airhawk 2 cushion for the passenger seat and it seems much less rugged. I don't recommend the Airhawk 2 for anyone that rides a lot. Spend the extra money on the original version like this one.

Mine was missing the puncture repair kit (not that I've needed it). I called Roho customer support and they couldn't have been more pleasant. They immediately sent a replacement kit at no charge.

It is critically important that you inflate this properly. It's not that hard to figure out either. Took me two tries to find the right point. When it is under inflated it really doesn't help much at all. When correct, the difference is amazing. And unlike some, I don't even find it uncomfortable to be overinflated which makes you glide side to side a bit on turns.

I loved my Roho Airhawk motorcycle seat cushion from the first time I tried it out. I followed the simple directions for inflation and have never had to adjust it since. I ride a Harley Davidson Softail Deluxe which I had lowered because I'm vertically challenged. Consequently the ride is a lot harder now and it was killing my back to ride for long distances. This cushion is the answer to my dreams! I can ride now for hours without pain. I only wish I would have bought it before we took a 6,000 mile trip earlier this summer. I highly recommend this product!

This is the best money that I have spent on my BMW R1200 RT. Be sure to follow directions for inflation. You want to sit in the cushion, not on it.

Cheap Cow Print 5-piece Highback Seat Covers / Steering Wheel Cover

I looked at several cow print car seat covers online and chose these because of the size of the spots. Many of the other pictures look more like a Dalmation than a cow. Unfortunately, when these arrived, the spots were much smaller and not as they are pictured online. They actually look identical to the picture from the manufacturer "Shear Comfort" which are much more expensive as well.

I liked the quality of the fabric and the fit was decent (a little small for my 2013 Jeep Wrangler seats since they are kind of wide and have a large headrest). I am returning them and going to try another manufacturer.

I must have Viking blood, don't know how people are comfortable with some non breathable fabrics on their chairs. Put this on a rocker in our nursery and now can sit there with great comfort. Doesn't bother me if I don't have on a shirt. No lumpy feel like with beeded products and also spares your thighs which my mesh back chair add ons don't dothough they also provide good lumbar support which this product doesn't. This cushion also feels very sturdy. I'm a big guy and I have no complaints.

I'm probably the only person on the planet that does not like (unventilated/unheated) leather seats in cars (per my wife), but I sweat on them in the summer and freeze on them in the winter. I prefer fabric for comfort (if not for looks or fashion). I drive long distances for work and got "stuck" with leather seats in my company car. This product solved both problems amazingly well and for a bargain price. I find it very comfortable to sit on for long distances. I've had my first one for 9 months and 25,000 miles and the covering is now starting to come apart at the drivers-door edge. I cannot imagine buying a different technology of product when this has worked so well. Highly recommended!

I've had this type of cushion before (not at this price!) and liked the way they worked. Besides being cool in summer due to blocking the sun when parked, AC air moves thru them for cooling. In winter they help warm air move under you and feel warmer than the seat when you first get in during cold weather.

Their main drawback is that they are pushed over when you enter the car. The back is better due to the elastic strap, but the bottom always "scoots." It's pretty easy to scoot it back under you by "bridging" your rear up and pushing it back to the center of the seat.

Nice product great for us "Seattle weather wussies."
