Pretty ingenious design. It goes in fairly easily but you'll need strong hands or some help to make them fit. It's not permanent but I don't see me wanting to do this repeatedly so washing is out. Great price. I would never buy accessories any other way again.

bought this to help my elderly father out, as he has some thumb muscle degeneration and hand arthritis. Made riding along in my AJ a problem for him. Getting the seat belts unclicked was becoming a challenge, (and he doesn not like to be helped) partly because of the aged buckles in my ZJ requiring more pressure to unclick them, and partly because of the position/angle he would have to make the attempt. This solved both problems and takes that one small level of stress out of dad's life.

The ford focus ST has no dead pedal surface. If you don't know what this is, its a plastic surface that most manual cars have next to the clutch pedal to rest your foot on. A dead pedal is essential as to not tear up the carpet. These cover the ENTIRE CARPETED SURFACE below the seats, almost up to the firewall in the drivers side! MEANING, they create a dead pedal surface.

I like Husky Liners over Weathertech. I've had both in different vehicles in years past. I had a Lincoln Aviator SUV with Husky Liners and an Infiniti FX35 with Weathertech. Big difference is that the Husky has nibs to grip into floor carpet and the Weathertech surprisingly did not, which resulted in the floor liners slipping around expecially in the back. After riding around with passengers in the back I had to dig them out from under the front seat. Husky Liners like the ones shown here, have complete coverage in back even over the center hump and the aforementioned nibs to hold them in place. Also, the lip comes all the way up to the door edge for better protection. They cost more but it's worth it for the long haul. Invest in these and you won't be disappointed.

I have 3 Foci, got the Husky's for my ST they have the best fit and most carpet protection. The weather tech's are nice but don't come up high enough in the front. The Ford OEM rubber mats are the nicest material but offer the least protection from snow and mud.

Just bought a new 2013 Ford Focus SE and wanted to find all weather mats to protect the floors. These fit perfectly! I like that they are thin, but sturdy. The driver's side mat covers everything that your feet could possibly touch, and once I installed it I didn't think twice about it being there. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I was hoping for a little more sturdy material used in the making of this license plate, however, I'm still content. It is a little bent which goes back to the material. I'm going to flatten it out tonight before putting it on my truck. I'm very pleased and it's the colors I was hoping to find. The blue butterflies match my truck perfectly and the pink goes well with a couple of decals I already have placed. It was a steal not to purchase. After doing a lot of research for a pair of headrest DVD players, I settled upon this one. I was concerned about how well the leather would match my seats, and I am satisfied overall. Once I applied some Lexol leather cleaner/conditioner to darken the headrests, they matched my seats quite well. It is hard to see in the available pictures, but the headrests are covered in a leather with a slight grain, which match the seats of my 2003 VW Passat perfectly.

Wiring the headrests was tricky, but once I figured out that threading the wires coming out of the headrests DOWN the inside of the seat covers (rather than threading the connector wires UP the seats) by using wire from a coat hanger, the process was straight forward. To be sure that I didn't puncture the leather with the coat hanger wire, I thoroughly wrapped the tip in tape at least 5 to 10 times. Once I did this it was fairly easy to thread. (This is an important step, or the coat hanger will poke right through the leather seat cover!). I also found that inserting a dowel up the bottom of the seat covers to separate the back of the seat cover away from the main frame and padding provided a gap that made fishing the wires down the seat MUCH easier.

I had trouble finding a switched power source, so I wired a toggle switch that is mounted in the center armrest so that I can cut the power to the headrests to avoid draining the battery when not in use. (The switch also gives me ultimate control over the use of the headrests by my kids a fact that my two seven year old boys don't appreciate that much).

The units play mp4 video that I converted with Handbrake and burned to a disk easily. The picture quality is pretty good for all video sources, although resolution is a little low. I have not tried the usb or memory card reader yet.

One last point of clarification the specs to not clearly say how many AV inputs and outputs are provided. The headrests include one A/V input and output that can be connected to the wires that are run through the seats, and a second set of inputs and outputs that can be accessed through the front panel of the unit. I connected both headrests to the video out of my head unit, which has a DVD player and iPod access, using a simple RCA splitter with excellent results. That way, my boys can watch a video connected to my head unit through my iPod simultaneously, or they can play their own DVDs using the player in the headrest.

One last tip make sure to ground the headrests to the car's frame using as short a wire as possible. If you run a long ground wire (as long as your power wire, for example), you will get interference from the car's alternator coming through the head unit if it is connected to one, which can be really annoying.

I was very impressed with the picture quality of this unit. Pyle has a decent reputation for LCD quality so I picked this up. I needed an all-in-one with the DVD player because my 7" dvd headunit likes to eat and ruin discs so I didn't want to just get a monitor one to run off of the front and risk breaking disc after disc. The features are nice, things like the games and controller are clunky and I will probably never use them but it reads discs great, picture quality is GREAT! Sound is good enough, but won't blow you away. My daughter cannot be happier with it though.

The only thing to note is, depending on your car, be ready for an install day. This is not a "take the old headrest off, plop this in and done." No no no, the wires gave me a lot of trouble because they always came up too short to grab from the bottom of the seat, so I was forced to make a cut (under the seat so it is unnoticeable) and cram my arm up there with the 2nd part and connect them with one hand. It worked, but was highly inconvenient. I wish they would have put longer cords on these, but I got it to work. You will also have to tap into a power and ground source. Ground source is easy, and I just used the power my amp in the back was getting and that was easy enough. It looks clean with no wires showing and was a slick install. Just know what you are buying before you buy. Go buy a portable DVD player if you are a soccer mom who just wants to plug something into the cigarette lighter, have cords running everywhere, and go. If you want a clean install that looks great and you have the know how to install this, don't hesitate to buy! Great product.

Purchased this dvd player for my daughter to watch movies while in the car. First I had it professionally installed only to find out that the screen would not illuminate. The image barely showed up. I contacted PYLE for warranty repairs. I had to pay to ship the thing out, and pay $15 to have it shipped back. I said okay, no biggie at least then it will be fixed.

I got it back plugged it up and everything worked....for now. Started driving down the road, unit began to skip and then stopped reading the DVD's all together. I won't bother sending it back, don't want to throw away another $25. Why spend good money after bad.

I am just going to buy a quality unit from a company that doesn't produce pyle's of junk!

Highs: 1yr warranty. Better quality than non-branded units on ebay. Ability to connect 2 headrests together to play and watch from either or both headrests. Infra-Red headphone capable but not included.

Lows: Games/game controller are low quality. No headphones.

I purchased this Pyle DVD headrest to replace a similar looking non-branded DVD headrest that I purchased on ebay that only lasted 30days before the display went out. I will never get burned by ebay and questionable sellers with no warrany and a 7-day return policy again. Note: I wasn't able to leave feedback to warn others on ebay because it was past 30days. Ebay simply said Oh-well, that's our policy.

This Pyle DVD headrest has a 1 year warranty and it has the video/audio in/out cables to connect 2 of these DVD headrest in the car. The kids love the option of watching their own movie or watching the same movie. Our kids are 6 and 8, so my wife or I usually have to get the movies going because the remote might be confusing, at least until they get used to it.

The Pyle DVD headrest is better quality than the ebay unit I replaced. For example, the hinge is more robust and the flat, flexible ribbon cables have a strain relief and guide to prevent damage. All around it seems that Pyle's engineering specified a higher end product. The instruction manual is also better than the off-brand unit that I have.

The IR headphones that we had from the previous headrest work perfect with the Pyle DVD headrest and have both A and B channels. I wish Pyle included a set.

Don't buy it for the games.

This is a great DVD headrest unit for the price. The installation was a breeze, but if you are not comfortable with dismantling the back of a seat and hard wiring it to the vehicle yourself Take it to a professional. The screen is good not great but for the kids they are just happy to have cartoons playing. The color (gray) is a slight off in shades in my Mercedes but it is close enough. I have had the unit for about a month now and ran it to another older headrest unit I had so now I can use this one to show the video on both headrests. I gave it 4 stars not because of anything bad but if you want a headrest on a budget it is about as good as you can get. I will see how it holds up over time.....

Great product but I had to do some modification because the tongue of my seat belt was too short to engage the latch mechanism of this buckle. The latch mechanism could have been closer to the buckle entrance point so that it would work with either a short or long tongue.

It really is a great product! There are a couple down parts. First it really is stinky let them air out, and second is the floor mats are slightly a lighter purple than the seat covers. It really is no big deal they're going to get dirty anyways :)

I bought this for a friend who has a Jeep, after I bought a similar product from the same company (OEM Extenders) for my own Kia. We could not reach the factory buckles with 3 booster seats in the rear seat of the truck. They were too short. With these extensions in place, it makes buckling the boys a lot easier. They were the perfect length. Puts the buckle right beside the seat.

One power cable was bad.There was only one option for a bad dvd player which was return for a refund(No exchanges). I returned though UPS and got a refund deposited to my account the next day. I was very happy with the response to my return. Although I just had to make another purchase to get another set. I was installing them in a 2006 Monte Carlo with light gray interior and these monitors were darker than my seats so I plan to just have them recovered for my new set on the way which I got an estimate of $80 to recover both headrest in cloth matching my original seat.
