I've been using the Bone-ster regularly for the last year. This was a HUGE upgrade from a more conventional creeper with small wheels, which eventually got so frustrating that I looked for alternatives.

The Bone-ster is basically a slightly smaller version of "The Bone" model: Dale Adams Enterprises 6031 The B1 Mechanics Creeper. The main differences are a 'grooved' surface (for strength), smaller 3" (vs. 5") wheels, and lower price. The grooved surface is a mixed bag (see below), but I actually prefer the smaller size (easier to put away) and the lower cost is an obvious plus!

Pros:

* VERY smooth rolling on concrete or asphalt

* Does not get stuck on small pebbles or cracks like most cheap creepers

* Extremely stable (another problem when getting on/off most cheap creepers)

* Comfortable (I'm 6'1" & 210 lbs)

* Solid construction this will out-last me...

* Light & easy to carry

* Grooved surface provides good air circulation Great in hot weather!

Cons:

* Grooved surface is difficult to clean

* No padded headrest

* More expensive than alternatives

Overall this is an excellent creeper, and well worth the premium over cheaper alternatives. If your work area is rough or uneven (like stamped decorative concrete) then the larger-wheeled Bone or "Rough Rider" Dale Adams Enterprises 7031 The Bone Rough Rider Mechanic's Creeper are probably a better choice. But if you mostly work on relatively smooth concrete or asphalt, the Bone-ster is highly recommended!

After enduring the old wooden creeper with wheels that wouldn't roll and that got hung up on any little spec of dust on the floor I finally broke down and bought a new creeper. I should have done it years ago, this thing a great, smooth rolling and easily navigates around and over lumps and bumps in the floor. There may be better creepers out there, but this is all the creeper I'll ever need!

Bought this a month or so ago. Good quality and rolls easily on the floor. The opportunity is there to make this almost perfect as creepers go, but they chose to not put a padded headrest on this model. I'm 6'2/230 lbs and it's long enough but I don't like it not having the headrest. I'm putting a piece of foam under my head when I use it. I don't think you should have to do this! They need to retrofit this model and get it right. I would have paid a few more dollars to get it. I would have given it 5 stars if the headrest was there.

I thought this would smell like leather it does, but at first it smells real bad. After a couple of hours, the smell was neutral, and smelled okay/musty. After a few days, it has a hint of leather smell. I wouldn't buy it again because its not the best smell in the world, but it is way better than those tree air fresheners.

I bought a used car back in December from a dealership. The car looked and smelled brand new inside. It was obvious that the car had been thoroughly detailed (inside and out) and I thoroughly enjoyed that new leathery smell. But, just two months later, that new car smell is gone. I was bound and determined to find out what product the dealership used to detail the interior, so I did a lot of Googling and found some good reviews of Griot's Garage Leather Scent and decided to give it a try. First, this stuff smells exactly like what the dealership used in my car, a sweet "leathery" smell. Love it!! So, today I sprayed two squirts on each of the front floor mats. Big mistake!! This is some powerfully strong stuff and those four squirts (total) were waaaaay too much. My wife and I ended up driving to work with the windows cracked in hopes to dilute the scent! Next time I'm using just ONE squirt. So, in conclusion, I love this stuff, it quickly brought back that new car leather scent, but be careful about how much you use!

UPDATE: Day two, and the smell of this product has diminished dramatically, almost to the point where I want to spray a little more in the car.

UPDATE: The smell doesn't really last that long. A few days at best. And I noticed that after the initial (overpowering) leather scent fades away, you're left with a strange chemical smell in the car. Not quite sure how to describe it, but it's not leather and it's not pleasing to the nose. Since I'm not happy with this product, I have since purchased a variety of leather conditioners (that contain a leather scent). I bought a bottle of Poorboys Leather Stuff, Zaino Leather in a Bottle, and Adam's Leather Conditioner. All three smell the same to me, all have a pleasant leather scent. So far I've applied the Zaino on my leather seats and I am very pleased. The scent is not overpowering and it smells very pleasant. After almost a week the scent is still in the car. I can't wait to try the other two products. I'd recommend going this route and NOT buy the Griot's Garage Leather Scent.

This is the closest fragance I've found to new leather seats. I put 3 sprays under each seat. That was TOO much. At first it smelled rather chemically. They the smell mellowed out. The smell was gone in about 4 days. This is a better leather smell than Yankee Candles leather car gel. It was mush more chemically. I may try Yankee Candles leather car hang tag but I think it will smell the same as their car gel. If you do try the car gel, don't hand it on the rear view mirror. The sun will dry it out quickly. Put it on the gear shifter, turn signal/light stalk or under the seat.

After using the leather care spray from Griots and being very impressed from the new leather smell, I figured I would give the air freshener a try. Smells like the cleaner.... like fresh leather interior. You wont be disappointed with this product. Like all Griots products it's good stuff.

I love this thing. I can listen to my radio in the front speakers on the van, and my girls can watch tv in the back using the sound from the speakers on the screens or through headphones. Or, if you feel like giving them a theater experience, you can also put it through the vehicle speakers.

The "tv" has its own remote, so you don't have to always change the thing over to change it for them. Plus, it runs off of "RCA" connection cables, so you can split the signal to as many "TVs" as you have available in the vehicle.

My girls love this thing. I used to have to remember to bring DVDs so they could watch on trips, but now, if I forget it is not big deal.

The channels are: Cartoon Network Mobile, Nickelodean Mobile, and Disney Mobile. They run the same programs, and have some commercials, but they run off their own separate schedule from their real TV versions.

My only qualm with this thing is the lack of channels. I would like to see a couple more channels, maybe even a few adult channels (no, not porn, but maybe a movie channel or a few news channels; i.e. Weather Channel would be a plus). This is why I only give it a 4 star rating. Other than that, it is great.

It costs roughly $20 a month for everything that Surius offers for radio and the 3 channels. Not a bad price.

I got my wife a new built in headrest tv/dvd system for her Dodge Durango. Since the price was right, I got the Backseat Tv system for my two Boys (8 and 9) so everyone got an upgrade. Installation is a bit awkward. I later found that buying 3 female to female Y-splitters (available for 0.97 each on amazon) simplified things and got rid of a lot of tangled wires. You also need to either use direct audio input into your car radio, or the fm adapter which you plug directly into your radio antenna socket and plug the antenna directly into the adapter. this only fits a STANDARD radio antenna plug. Speaking for Chrysler, my vehicle has a different antenna plug that didn't fit so you may want to look for an antenna adapter in advance (I dont have one yet, but ran a wire from the adapter plug and wrapper it around the antenna itself to transmit the signal, but I will be looking for an adapter)

We left for a 300 mile trip to Maine for the holidays the next day and called to activate on the way. I got a bit of a runaround from the SiriusXm CSR. She first told me that my ID number wasn't valid. I told her that it was a SCV1 backseat TV system and she asked for my car VIN number. I said again, that this was an aftermarket product and was told that she could activate the radio but not the TV because "backseat TV is only available on factory installed Chrysler vehicles" I told her that I was in fact in a Chrysler vehicle, it was an aftermarker Sirius product, but was installed in a Chrysler vehicle. She put me on hold for about 10 minutes, but came back saying that she could activate the system and waived the activation fee. I am not sure if she was mistaken on not being able to activate the Audiovox product, and that was what the hold was for, or if there is in fact some agreement with Chrysler, but you may want to check it out in advance.

As for the product itself, it works great. This was the quietest trip that I can remember. Once we were in Maine for xmas, and had a house full of all of the boys' cousins, they wanted to show off their ability to watch Nick in the car and they all crammed into the back of the Durango like a drive in movie trip and we didn't hear from any of them for about 4 hours.

So you may have to jump through a few small hoops with the install and dealing with SiriusXM but once you do, this is well worth the small amount of money

The installation was pretty easy and I was able to install the sirius backseat in about an hour. After install I contacted sirius and had the unit activated (7.00$ a month) and within five minutes I was able to scan through the three channels they have ( cartoon network, disney, nick) all channels are crystal clear and my kids have yet to complain.

I just installed Sirius Backseat TV a few months ago. I have been wanting to install this system for years, I just couldn't justify the cost of the equipment, about 3 years ago equipment costs were around $700 plus for all the needed equipment. I was looking around a few months ago and noticed the Amazon price of $36 for the SCV1 (WOW) so I ordered the unit and headrest monitor for $77. Install was very easy, if you have done any car audio installs before. I had the SCV1 and the monitor installed in about 2 hours. It works great, activation with Sirius took about 20 minutes.

Yes, I know there are only 3 TV channels, but these are the channels my son watches most of the time at home, so he was thrilled when we surprised him with them in the car :) I know these video channels are not HD quality, but it has the video quality of a video stream from the internet, just no buffering in the middle of the video. I would not try to view these video channels on a monitor larger then 10" I could really see heavy pixelation of the video when I tested the SCV1 on my 19" computer monitor.

I know there are other video products out there, but they need a 3G internet connection for them to work while traveling along the road and they offer more channels and better video quality, but the other reason I chose Sirius backseat TV is our routes of travel to see family and take vacation. We travel along roads in the mountains and cellphone coverage is spotty at best for miles. The only time we lost Sirius service is travelling through the tunnels cut through the mountians.

For the cost, this is our most realilable mobile TV service I could find. I did look at the Direct TV option, but that things antenna is huge and I noticed a LOT of drop outs while traveling along the demo route in town and the cost of equipment is HIGH.

I know Backseat TV has about 3 to 4 year life limit with my son. I know he will out grow these TV channels, but for now it is perfect for us.

I have emailed Sirius to ask them to offer more channels, that's why I can only give this product a 4 out of 5 stars. I know Sirius is not really in the business of TV programming, but they really should look at this product as another point of revenue if they add a larger verity of programming. I could see truck drivers buying this product if Sirius could offer more channels. I know Sirius has limited amount of bandwidth, but since they also have XM's channels they need to look at cutting back the simulcasting of audio channels on both bands and give up some bandwidth for more TV channels. I can only hope Sirius has some future improvement plans in the future for Sirius Backseat TV.

I have these items, but they really don't fit all cars comfortably. I have to adjust them each time I get in and out of my vehicle. They really don't adhere to the seats with the assembly tools they came with. I really like them, but am disappointed with the lack of room around the seat area. Need to be less tighter for comfort and come with tools that can keep them attached properly.

Product was complete with mount hardware. Took about 40min. Each as you may encounter bolts that may snap or round off, which will require a cutting torch to loosen stuck bolts or grind bolt flat then use a center punch and drill out the bolt, use torch to warm and use E/Z out. If E/Z out doesn't work, drill out bolt to mounting bolt size and get lock washers and the proper size nut and sandwich the assebly together. Awsum ride now!

Ordered this for my daughters car, so my grandaughter can reach the seat belt to buckle and unbuckle her seat belt from her booster seat. I had to contact OEM because I thought I ordered the wrong type because it would keep slipping out when I pulled on it. Derek was so awesome on the phone and suggested that maybe he sent me the wrong size. He was willing to do anything to ensure I had the correct product. I tried to click in again and realized I was holding the release button on the piece I was putting it into. It clicked into place and is very secure. I highly recommend this for anyone who struggles trying to reach the seat belt buckle across your childs seat.

They look better in the pictures... But they work. They did not fit the seats in our car as neatly as I had hoped. Our seats are very deep, I think these seat covers would be much better on seats that are not contoured so deeply. Also the "foam lining" was very thin and only served to make it difficult to slide the covers into place. But, like I said, once we got them on and situated, they decided they should work for a while.

One Step Ahead Car Seat Protector for Upholstery Review

I bought this to protect a light beige leather interior. The protector fit reasonably well, and the pouches at the bottom of the protector were nice to store toys in. I removed the protector after about 5 days of having it in because I was moving the car seat to another car. When the protector was removed the black dye used on the non-slip base of the protector had transferred to my beige leather seats. Ironically the seat protector had done more damage to the interior than anything that it protected against would have done. Tried several different leather cleaners and the stains will not go away. I will most likely have to have the leather re dyed. There were no problems with the interior prior to using this product; it is a late model car and the leather interior is regularly conditioned.

In any case if you are planning on using this to protect leather interiors, this is not the product for you.

We have a minivan with 3 children in carseats. I ordered these to protect the seats from dirt, juice, food, etc. I tried a couple of others first and have found these to offer the best overall coverage of the seat. I found the picture to be an accurate representation of coverage. The seat itself is covered while the seatback is more like 2/3-3/4 covered. The front flap covers the seat front where the kids climb in and out so that is a big help, plus the little storage pockets are nice too. There is no coverage for the sides of the seat or seatback but I could not find others that offered more coverage. They seem to be doing a good job protecting the seats. Would recommend to a friend.

Over all we are satisfied with what we pay for. We got this to protect our black leather seats. Got a letter from One Step Ahead saying some people complained about the dark dye staining the seat... guess we can't tell if it does on our seats or not since we have black leather.

Overall it works for us.. My baby who still sitting rear-facing likes to kick the seat and since this cover has no straps he could have damage the leather, but we always take his shoes off before getting him into the car seat so we are not worried about the seat being dirty..

i am a 25 year dealership mechanic, I used to sell monroe shocks when I was younger and they were of good quality with a great rep for warranty of product to keep customer satisfaction. I installed these struts on my personal vehicle end of nov. 2012 and now have to replace them august 2013. lifetime warranty means nothing if you have to pay for labor to reinstall something and pay for new alignments. if the original struts lasted 10 yrs. do the math.
